Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp (Kogatende) is a seasonal luxury tented camp located in the northern Serengeti, positioned specifically in the Kogatende area from June to October. This location is one of the most important wildlife hotspots in Africa, especially during the Great Migration when wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara and Bologonja Rivers. The camp is strategically placed to give guests front-row access to dramatic river crossings and predator action.
The camp operates as a mobile safari camp with approximately 10–12 spacious canvas tents, designed to blend comfort with wilderness authenticity. Each tent includes en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets or bucket showers, mosquito-netted beds, solar lighting, and a private veranda overlooking the plains. The tents are simple but well-equipped, focusing on immersion in nature while still offering essential comfort and privacy.
Guests enjoy full safari immersion with daily game drives focused on migration crossings, bush breakfasts, sundowners, and optional balloon safaris. Evenings are spent around the campfire under open skies, creating a classic, intimate Serengeti experience. The camp is especially valued for its unbeatable location during peak migration season rather than luxury infrastructure.
