Embalakai Serengeti Camp is a semi-permanent midrange tented camp located in the central Serengeti National Park, near the Banagi area and Nyabogati River. Its location places it in one of the most wildlife-rich zones in the Serengeti, with easy access to Seronera, which is known for year-round game viewing including lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of plains game. The camp offers an authentic bush experience while still maintaining comfort and accessibility to key safari routes.
The camp features around 13 spacious safari tents designed for comfort and privacy, each raised on wooden platforms with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, solar power, mosquito nets, and private verandas. The tents are simple but well-equipped, focusing on blending modern convenience with a close-to-nature safari atmosphere. Guests can relax on their decks while watching wildlife or enjoy the sounds of the Serengeti at night.
The main lounge and dining area overlooks the Nyabogati River, offering a relaxed setting for meals and sundowners. Guests typically enjoy game drives in the central Serengeti, bush dining experiences, and evening campfires under the stars. The camp is well known for its peaceful atmosphere, friendly service, and strong location advantage for year-round wildlife viewing.
