Namiri Plains Camp is a high-end luxury tented safari camp located in the eastern part of Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, in the Soit Le Motonyi area. This region was closed to tourism for many years and is now known for its exclusive, low-vehicle-density safari experience. The camp sits in a remote wilderness area, giving guests a strong sense of privacy and uninterrupted views across open plains that stretch toward the horizon.
The camp features around 10–11 spacious luxury tented suites, each built on raised wooden platforms with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, large indoor and outdoor seating areas, and private decks overlooking the savannah. The design is modern safari luxury—natural tones, canvas structures, and open layouts that blend into the landscape while still offering premium comfort such as fine bedding, charging stations, and elegant lounge spaces.
Namiri Plains is especially famous for its exceptional big cat sightings, particularly cheetahs, lions, and leopards, thanks to the surrounding cheetah conservation area. It is also known for being one of the most private safari experiences in the Serengeti, with very few vehicles around sightings. Guests choose it for photography, wildlife immersion, and a quiet, high-end safari away from busier central Serengeti zones.
