8-Day Camping safari in Tanzania

We will pick you up from the airport and then transfer you to the hotel with an optional tour of Arusha city. This short city tour will introduce you to Tanzania and prepare you for your trip the next day. In the evening, we will brief you on the activities of the rest of the tour.

Your adventure begins after breakfast, with pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m., where you will meet your professional safari guide. You will depart on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its majestic baobab trees and for hosting the largest population of elephants in the country, and many species of antelope and Predators such as lions, cheetahs. Around midday, you will stop at a beautiful picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River, where you can enjoy your lunch, be on the lookout for playful monkeys and curious baboons, which often like to come close, but they are harmless and add a bit of fun to the experience. After lunch, the adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, you will exit the park around 4;30 p.m. and drive to the Lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will drive towards the remote and stunning Lake Natron. You stop for lunch at your tented lodge before visiting the base of Oldoinyo Lengai volcano and enjoying a sunset walk near the lake, home to thousands of flamingos and dramatic landscapes.

You start your day with a guided morning exploration of Lake Natron, visiting the soothing hot springs and hiking to the scenic Ngare Sero Waterfalls. After lunch, you will journey onward to the Northern Serengeti, where you will spend two unforgettable days witnessing the Great Migration along the Mara River.

You will set out at sunrise for a full-day game drive through the Northern Serengeti, gradually making your way toward the wildlife-rich plains of Central Serengeti. This region is renowned for its abundant predators, sweeping savannahs, and dramatic scenery that defines the classic African safari experience. Along the way, you’ll enjoy opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of grazers roaming freely across the landscape.
You pause for a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your exploration into the afternoon, when wildlife activity often peaks again. As the sun sets over the plains, you arrive at your luxury tented safari camp for a relaxing evening.

After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing, you continue your journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You arrive in time for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by vast open plains and scattered acacia woodlands, where wildlife roams freely, and the atmosphere captures the true essence of the African wilderness.

• You’ll depart at dawn for an unforgettable game drive inside the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife haven renowned for hosting the Big Five and offering one of the best chances to spot the rare black rhino. You will explore the diverse habitats of the crater floor, from open grasslands to freshwater pools teeming with life. After an enriching morning of wildlife viewing, you ascend the crater walls and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, where your memorable safari adventure comes to a close.
